Move Matter / Architects is a Vail, Colorado based firm led by Emily Arden Wells and Zac Stevens. Drawing from 25 years of collective architectural experience, MvM has worked on a diverse set of projects in locations ranging from New York City to the Sierra Nevada mountains of California since its founding in 2014. MvM has materialized a multitude of project types including single-family residential, multi-unit housing, retail, hospitality, and office environments.
With the belief that the practice of architecture mediates perception and production of both culture and the physical environment, MvM works diligently within a project’s intent and means. It is MvM’s ambition to reveal the beauty and opportunity of a project’s constraints while aspiring to let bleed the results of the project into the surrounding community.
